Culdearn House is a beautiful Victorian Country House situated in the heart of Speyside in the Cairngorm National Park. Built in 1860 it has retained many of its original features such as barley twist wood panelling and Victorian elaborate cornicing. It lies on the edge of Grantown on Spey opposite woodlands and is within easy walking distance of the town (8-10 minutes). Log fires, elegant drawing room and only 6 beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Excellent Highland hospitality. Award winning restaurant, fine wines, rare malts. A 4 course dinner and coffee is served each evening at £39.50 per person from 7pm. Reservations are essential. Ideally situated within walking distance of the River Spey for salmon and sea trout fishing, 5 beautiful golf courses, steam train, bird watching, osprey, Cairngorm Mountains and funicular and Lecht Skie resort. Heading North on the A9 take the right turn about 3 miles after Aviemore, signed to Elgin and Grantown A95. After approx 12 miles as you enter Grantown from the south-west on the A95 take the first left off the roundabout, travel 400 metres and then left at the 30 mph sign and Culdearn House faces you. From ElginAberlourBraemar roads, entering the town on the A95 from the north-west, turn left at the traffic lights and we are 400 metres along where the road forks - take the right-hand fork Culdearn is on the left.
